Marine fabrication and repair
Hull sections, structural assemblies, plate work and piping form part of RAM’s published marine capability. The work environment may be a shipyard production hall, a docking period or an onboard assignment. Access and the vessel programme shape the scope.

Industrial pipe and structural work
For oil, gas and process-industry projects, RAM supplies welders and fabrication crews for pipe spools, structural assemblies and plate work. These disciplines support workshop prefabrication, installation, modification and fixed maintenance or shutdown windows.

Qualification and documentation
The qualification must cover the weld.
RAM’s published welding capability includes 111 (MMA/manual metal arc), 141 (TIG) and 136 (flux-cored MAG). This is a general capability range. The applicable process and qualification depend on the material, joint, position and project specification; the list does not mean that every process applies to every material or project.
A WPS describes how the weld is made. The WPQR provides the qualification basis for the procedure. The individual welder’s qualification range is a separate requirement. RAM selects personnel against the project documentation and experience required for the assignment.
For a mobilisation discussion, provide the available WPS, material and thickness range, welding positions, work environment and required qualification records. Inspection, acceptance and handover responsibilities should be clear in the agreed scope.

Your organisation directs execution. RAM supplies the trades or crews and handles employment, documentation, mobilisation and workforce administration.
Technical subcontracting
RAM organises trades, supervision and coordination around contracted deliverables. Interfaces, acceptance criteria and the division of responsibilities are agreed before mobilisation.

Send the project location, work environment, required disciplines and mobilisation window. Include drawings or specifications where available, and tell us who will direct execution. RAM can then discuss the delivery model, documentation and workforce needed for the assignment.
