Ship Fitter Jobs Netherlands – Hull Assembly in Papendrecht

This is a stable shipyard job in the Netherlands with a Dutch employment contract, accommodation in a single room, a car for local transport and flight reimbursement. If you are a skilled ship fitter, hull fitter or marine steel fabricator looking for long-term work in the Netherlands, this hull assembly position is for you.

Ship Fitter – Main Tasks

• Assembly and fitting of ship hull structures and steel blocks
• Measuring, cutting and aligning steel components and plates
• Tack welding and SMAW (MMA 111) welding in all positions
• Grinding, finishing and surface preparation
• Reading technical drawings, shipbuilding drawings and parts lists

• Dutch employment contract and payroll
• 45–50 working hours per week – overtime paid

• Proven experience as a Ship Fitter, Hull Fitter or Marine Metal Fabricator
• Experience with thin and thick steel plates in shipbuilding
• Tack welding in all positions
• Driving licence – mandatory
• English minimum B1 – Dutch is an advantage
• VCA certificate – an advantage
• EU/EEA passport or a valid EU residence and work permit (we cannot sponsor visas or work permits)
